The United Methodist Women meet the the third Tuesday of each month at NOON at the Bridge Way Restaurant in Smyrna. Come, bring a friend and enjoy great food and fellowship. All women are invited to attend.
Men's Breakfast is held the third Saturday of each month beginning at 9:00 am at Rudy's Family Restaurant located at 17064 S. Dupont highway in Harrington, Delaware. Topic this month: "So How Did Jesus Read the Bible". Come and join us for a great morning of food and fellowship.
The first Wednesday of each month we hold a potluck dinner at the Kenton Ruritan Club with gathering time at 6:00pm and dinner being served at 6:30pm. Bring a covered dish to share if you wish. Each month we feature a different type of entertainment. Come, bring the family and enjoy an evening of great food and fellowship. We will be taking a break for the holiday season and resume the first Wednesday in February.
Kenton United Methodist Church has opened a food pantry to serve our local Kenton community as an outreach mission for the church. If you would like to donate any non-perishable items to help stock the pantry it would be greatly appreciated. Drop off times will be on Sunday prior to each worship service 8am or 9:30am , Wednesday from 7am until 1pm, Thursday from 7am until 3pm and Friday from 7am until 3pm. Please use the back entrance to the church. Please Note: NO EXPIRED FOOD or MEDICATIONS PLEASE. Thanks for your help to reach out to others in our own community. FOR KENTON RESIDENTS ONLY : Hours of operation : We are open the SECOND and FOURTH THURSDAY of each month from NOON until 2pm. Please bring proof of Kenton residency, ID and birth certificates for members of your household.
Join us on Thursday evening, December 12th at 5:00pm. We will begin at 5:30pm to celebrate the Christmas Season in song within the community of Kenton and to some of our shut in members. Refreshments will be available upon your return.
